In Japanese Hikari means “light,” as in that which comes to us from the Sun. This matcha is vibrant in all of its qualities. It has a luminous, lichen green colour that deepens significantly when water hits it. It whisks into a silky liquid that tints milk a dense, limey hue.

Slightly sweeter and brighter, full body, silky and umami-forward.

Ceremonial grade Japanese matcha green tea powder.

How to use

Sift 2.5g - 4g of matcha into a bowl. Add 30 mL of hot water heated to 85°C and whisk for 45 seconds until smooth. Pour into 235 mL of your preferred milk.
